The following work is my final project thesis for my Bachelor’s degree at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (São Paulo, Brazil). My project’s goal was to develop a visual identity for a neighborhood located in the east part of São Paulo city called Tatuapé, which means in tupi-guarani (an extinct native-brazilian language) "the armadillo way”
The insight came when I realized how warm and friendly was the atmosphere in the place. Different kinds of people live there, youngs and elderly, students and workers and also the places have a great contrast between themselves, huge buildings and cheerful small houses coexists at the same time.
Summing up everything, I concluded that the neighbourhood was
the way for everybody, it is our way.
